Northwest Territory Canada bed and breakfasts
Northwest Territory (N.W.T.) Canada B&Bs and Bed and Breakfasts provide travelers an opportunity to enjoy the long days of summer and the long nights of winter in the "Land of the Midnight Sun".
Most N.W.T. B&Bs include 1 or 2 guest rooms and provide a breakfast each morning. In many of the smaller communities there are, often, a few B&Bs operating. In the larger communities like Yellowknife, Fort Smith and Inuvik the B&B numbers increase and there are more and more Bed and Breakfasts to choose from.
B&B guest rooms vary in amenities and style of breakfast. Some B&Bs serve breakfast in the home's kitchen at a communal breakfast table. Some serve the morning meal in your room. Some will offer you a choice.
Each B&B in the Northwest Territory is managed and operated by a Host. The Host in most cases is the owner of the home and lives onsite with you.
A B&B host is a good source of information for planning adventures in the north because they live in the community, they know the people in the community and, in many cases, they have gone out on adventures and visited many of the attractions.
Most Bed and Breakfasts operate within a community while others are located in the wilderness backcountry regions of the north. Community Bed and Breakfasts are in close proximity to many services, activities and attractions.
Services vary per NWT B&B. Some of the basic amenities may include phone, tv, private bathroom, internet, hot tub, private entrance, small fridge, dining area, living area, private patio and coffee maker.
