Boot Lake

Boot Lake: Boot Lake is a day use park popular for hiking, sightseeing, canoeing and picnicking in the summer months. During the winter months the trail and lake become snowshoe and cross country ski destinations. [ more information ]

Cabin Creek

Ehjuu-njik Park: A day use area popular for picnicking and fishing, but the park is best used as a rest stop for weary drivers as they travel along the Dempster Highway. Also known as the Cabin Creek Rest Area. [ more information ]

Campbell Lake

Gwichin Park: An 800 square kilometre park best known for its wildlife, limestone cliffs, arctic plant species, Campbell Lake and birding populations. The park is a combination of boreal forest and arctic tundra [ more information ]

Tower in Juk Park

Juk Park: Recreation park and campground. Some of the activities enjoyed in the park during the summer months include hiking, birdwatching, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping , sightseeing and picnicking. [ more information ]

Mackenzie Delta

Mackenzie Delta: The delta is a 210 kilometre wetland corridor covering over 13, 000 square kilometres. It is the largest wetland delta in Canada. And worldwide, it is the second largest arctic delta behind the Lena Delta in Russia. [ more information ]

Nihtak Park

Nihtak Park: A day use park. Summer activities include picnicking, fishing, canoeing and boating. During the winter months, after the waterways are frozen, the park is used as a base camp for snowmobiling and xc skiing adventures. [ more information ]

Information Centre

Nitainlaii Park: The park is best known as a campground park. However, it also doubles as an information centre, a picnic day use area and rest stop on the Dempster Highway. [ more information ]

Tithegeh Lookout

Tithegeh Lookout: A hiking trail following a 300 metre boardwalk and dirt trail to the wooden lookout platform overlooking Campbell Lake and the Gwichin' Territorial Park. [ more information ]
